There are some matters that Muslims have disagreed about for hundreds of years and they still do. We gain Allah’s pleasure by love and unity, He dislikes disunity and division. For this reason I ask you to promise Allah that you will leave these matters alone and strive to learn the principles and basics of the religion and to live by its manners, high morals and agreed-upon prescriptions, and to carry out the obligatory acts and the voluntary ones and to leave obsessing over little details so that our souls may be purified.
