Quotes About Allah
“Mention what you will of the greatness of Allāh, but Allāh is greater than anything you say. And mention what you will of the Fire, but it is more severe than anything you say. And mention what you will of Paradise, but it is better than anything you say.
“Look beyond. See through. He is showing you His signs so that you never forget who gave you the beauty of the stars, the moon, and the sun. And then He showed you their setting. To teach you. Never ‘face’ anything, but Him. Never believe that power lies in anything, but Him.
Never run. To anything, but Him. When you do, He’ll give you the world! But, only when you stop chasing it. And let it go.
Only when you ‘throw the staff’, and ‘face’ only Him.
These are not concepts. These are the truest Realities that exist. Outside of this Reality is only illusion.
“It is worse to be hopeless about the forgiveness of Allāh than to sin.
“There are people today who think that admitting God's absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God's greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
“God created us to give to us, not to take away from us.
“Worship of God begins only with knowledge of God and His infinitely high status. And knowledge of God starts with knowledge of the ego and its infinitely low status.
“God, the Generous, has allowed us to enter His presence at any time without appointment, and to remain in His presence for as long as we want to ask Him whatever we can ask. Simply by spreading a prayer mat and saying "God is Great", we are in His presence, able to ask whatever we like. Where is the king that allows us to enter his presence at any time, and to remain in his presence however long we like?
“Therefore when they [the Muslims] showed ingratitude toward the blessings that Allah had given them, He caused them to undergo severe torment under the hands of the Mongols in Baghdad, and in the Crusades when Westerners violently took over Muslim lands. Even today, they continue to take away and divide their homelands and rain fire and brimstone on them. Meanwhile the Muslims are busy with entertainment and error. Whenever a calamity or crisis befalls them, they say it is God's decree, without acknowledging the causes and without seeing the wisdom behind it, and without actively seeking to find a cure.
“There is no end or limit in reward for a deed which has found acceptance with Allah.
“Allah will support the just state even if it is led by unbelievers, but Allah will not support the oppressive state even if it is led by believers
“From the perfection of Allah’s ihsan is that He allows His slave to taste the bitterness of the break before the sweetness of the mend. So He does not break his believing slave, except to mend him. And He does not withhold from him, except to give him. And He does not test him (with hardship), except to cure him.
