Islamic Quotes
“Ali (radiAllaahu anhu) was asked, “Will you not appoint a successor?”
He said, ”No rather, I shall leave you just as Allaah’s Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) left you. If Allaah has decreed good for you then He will bring you together to select the best of you just as He made you choose the best of you after Allaah’s Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).”
“The state of Ibadah (true worship of God) is a feeling of smallness that develops through making the heart appreciate the greatness of the One Who is worshiped.
“Truly spiritual people are more forgiving of others. They are able to forgive the weaknesses in others, because spirituality teaches you to see your own.
“Anyone who shows the way to something good has the same reward as the person who does it.
“Islam didn’t make it Haram for you to fall in love. It didn’t forbid you from wanting someone. It only guides that love so it protects you, her, your families and especially saves you from humiliation on Judgment Day. If you love her so much, why are you OK with letting her engage in this questionable relationship knowing full well that she will have to answer Allah just like you will. You don’t love her enough to save her from that?
“People don’t need to be condemned. People need hope. People need to believe that they matter to God. That no matter how far they’ve fallen or strayed, He always awaits their return.
“If the shaytaan looks at you and sees that you are consistent in an act of obedience to Allaah, he will try to come to you again and again. If he sees that you are persistent in your actions (despite his efforts) he will tire of you and leave you. But if he sees that you are one day like this and one day like that, he will have high hopes in you.
