Imagine you are climbing up a ladder to Jannah, and in Ramadan you climb a thousand steps. When Ramadan is over many people fall all the way back down to where they began, it’s as though they never received that boost. No one will be able to maintain their efforts 100%. We’re not going to be able to maintain the same quality of all our good actions, but the goal is to have a healthy quantity. As long as we’re still dabbling in ebadah more than we did before the month started then inshaAllah this is a very positive sign.
